Sometimes, upon display of unusual prodigy, a child is immediately proclaimed “destined for greatness”. Well, I say that every one of us is destined for some measure of greatness, depending on how we act upon our God-given talents.
Perhaps my mother knew it— perhaps she foresaw the best thing that will happen to me in the future. And thus she committed herself to help me act upon my talents and pave my way to success!
When I was 10, Mom taught me the secrets of expert sewing and garment construction. A year later, she was already my salesperson, ensuring orders for hot roll warmers and decorative baskets that I designed and produced. When she succumbed to cancer in 2002 after battling it for 26 years, she had already seen me reach a lot of my life’s goals. She was a strong woman, my mom. And she instilled in me the same values that made her conquer all the trials of life, while maintaining the cheerfulness that she exuded every time we entertained.
Armed with the strong family values that I learned, I grew up to become a woman with a strong will to learn from life. My insatiable desire for knowledge developed into a habit of reading up on all things new: on technology, fashion, interior decorating, travel, or shopping. And naturally, this led me to lifestyle entrepreneurship! Where I found my niche, my life’s calling.
From the moment that I started setting out to make my dreams a reality, I developed and refined my personal mission statement and passions. Now that I’ve reached a certain level of success and fulfillment as a woman, I want to share my talents and knowledge to help women live amazing lives by creating wealth and obtain an over-all balanced lifestyle. Best of all, I teach women how to get profit from their passions!
My women-focused advocacies cut across all age groups but I give particular attention to the women above 35. This is because most women of that age are at that stage of their lives when they start giving themselves more time to pursue personal interests. This is the time when the kids have grown and income is relatively steady, BUT when some personal uneasiness about one’s life starts niggling at the back of the mind.
This why I have designed special workshops, teleseminars, and coaching programs that allow women all over the world to develop some measure of confidence and skill in creating strong businesses. Then I have a strong network of women engaged in clothing lines, fashion accessories, life/business coaching, interior design, and marketing businesses that will aid in developing self-directed personal brands.
I have been blessed so much in my life. So now I want to share this with other women. And I hope that they, in turn, will share and make a positive impact on other women’s lives as well. This way, sooner or later, we shall prove that, with the right motivations and convictions, all of us are actually destined for greatness!
